Greetings fellow 2018 UPenn BSN/MSN applicants! Just thought I could start a thread for the incoming applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.
Does anyone know if we need to submit separate transcripts for study abroad programs if it's already clearly stated on our official undergraduate transcript? Thanks! : )
Hi everyone! I submitted my app but I'm wondering if we also need to submit official transcripts? I see that on the checklist it says Official transcripts required if offered, so I thought that meant only if offered admission but their website says official transcripts are required. My school unfortunately requires that I pay a fee every time I ask for transcripts so I'm hoping they don't need official ones. Also, does anyone's app say completed? Mine says materials needed so I'm guessing it's because of my transcripts. And one final question, I ended up getting 3 letters even though they required 2 but allowed 3, did anyone else think this was a good idea? Let me know!
I submitted my app on 10/5 and it still says materials needed. I have a feeling it may be the GRE because I emailed and had it waived but I don't think the app knows that. Has anyone had this same issue?
My application says the same thing. The only thing missing right now is the GRE score but I already sent my scores to them via ETS. I did e-mail them to follow up and admissions said they have received all my materials so I guess they are still reviewing all the information as the deadline just passed last weekend and will clear the GRE score once they have had a chance to review.
To answer an earlier question, yes, we need to send official transcripts to the school. Once they are received, the status on the transcript section updates to "Official Transcripts Received".

From what I remember, the instructions said to limit your response to 1000 words. Don't think there were many more instructions than that besides the actual prompt.
