The_Salty_Cat 216 Posts Oct 1, 2017 I know :) I was wondering if they want our essay in single space, double space...etc?
futureAGPCNP 55 Posts Oct 1, 2017 Oh I don't know either! Mine ended up being ~ 2 pages single spaced.

I see that on the checklist it says Official transcripts required if offered, so I thought that meant only if offered admission but their website says official transcripts are required. My school unfortunately requires that I pay a fee every time I ask for transcripts so I'm hoping they don't need official ones. Also, does anyone's app say completed? Mine says materials needed so I'm guessing it's because of my transcripts. And one final question, I ended up getting 3 letters even though they required 2 but allowed 3, did anyone else think this was a good idea? Let me know!
futureAGPCNP 55 Posts Oct 16, 2017 Hi @Vee112! I'm fairly certain they require official transcripts now, I sent mine in. I also submitted three LORs. I'm thinking it can't hurt if you submit one more if it's allowed?
cac18 17 Posts Oct 16, 2017 Submitted my app for just the ABSN last night! I'm confident that my application is strong, but I'm a bit of an underdog applicant and can't help feeling nervous as heck. Good luck everyone!
rls2018 32 Posts Oct 16, 2017 I didn't submit my official transcripts. As of last night my final recommender submitted their letter and my application now reads "Ready for review" when I click on the checklist.

fnptobe123 41 Posts Has 1 years experience. Oct 18, 2017 I submitted my app on 10/5 and it still says materials needed. I have a feeling it may be the GRE because I emailed and had it waived but I don't think the app knows that. Has anyone had this same issue?

The only thing missing right now is the GRE score but I already sent my scores to them via ETS. I did e-mail them to follow up and admissions said they have received all my materials so I guess they are still reviewing all the information as the deadline just passed last weekend and will clear the GRE score once they have had a chance to review. To answer an earlier question, yes, we need to send official transcripts to the school. Once they are received, the status on the transcript section updates to "Official Transcripts Received".
futureAGPCNP 55 Posts Oct 26, 2017 Anybody know from last years applicants the timeline for acceptances for both the BSN and MSN portions? I know Penn starts to send out invitations for interviews in November, which are conducted in early/mid December. I think acceptances start coming out in January (?) but I'm not sure.
