2016 UPenn BSN/MSN Applicants

I couldn't find a thread for the UPenn BSN/MSN 2016 summer applicants, so I decided to start one. I think it will be a great way for us to connect and support each other.

Is anyone else on here currently applying?

I applied for the Adult Gerontology acute care NP program and have not heard back yet- an email that went out said decision by early December and have not been notified with a decision yet, anyone else? I did not have an interview, thoughts?

Ooo what did you say for what professional organizations are you apart of? I'm drawing a blank haha

I said Sigma Theta Tau, but ANA, APA would work too. Also, I mentioned that I went to professional conferences. The interview isn't really relaxed. If you're not a member of anything yet I would mention what you would like to join.

I just emailed the director of the acute care np program who emailed me previously- I asked when we could expect to hear a decision.

Hi everyone! Hope y'all are having great holidays. Has anyone not heard back from Penn about in person/ phone interviews? I haven't yet and it's making me a little nervous.

At the in person interviews, they told us we'd hear back feb 2-feb 10!

Hello! I just received an interview request for the Accelerated BSN program. Does anyone have any tips? I am not a traditional student whatsoever so my chances aren't as high so any tip will help!

ugh, did anyone else miss the deadline for the penn financial aid? My parents couldn't find their tax information until after the deadline :( does anyone know the deadline to fill out fafsa? ugh i hate worrying about financial aid.

In the email FC sent regarding financial aid, the new deadline for FAFSA was January 10th. However, I think I saw somewhere on their website they will still accept financial aid materials after the deadline, but will probably be evaluated after those who made the deadline! Good luck!!

I think last year they found out on feb 5th or so? Ahh

at the interviews I believe they said between february 2nd and 10th
