Trust me, law suits are coming. When mom/dad/sister, etc cannot get an ICU bed for a covid-unrelated issues like, say, cardiac arrest or trauma, this will happen.
Boarding in the ED is not ideal as we know.
Mark my words. The lawyers are probably already poised and waiting.
I (and my healthy loved ones) are seriously one car accident from needing a bed. Will I have to be shipped out of state to get one? It's looking likely, more so all the time. Will I survive the life flight/transportation? Who knows!
I have serious issues with all the beds being taken up with covid cases. It is preventable.

Just trying to understand why someone especially nurses remain unvaccinated when beds especially critical care ones are taken by the unvaccinated respiratory failure patients with poor chance of survival.
