unsure of NCLEX PN test...

Published

hi, i'm a new user...i took the pn test yesterday and of course left feeling like i had never attended nursing school.:uhoh21: i had 85 questions and i honestly felt that the questions stayed at an equal level of difficulty. i didn't have any "no brainers" or very many that i could just pick an answer with certainty. i took it with two other classmates and they both had 85 questions as well. i don't see how that few questions could determine if you have gained enough knowledge to become a nurse. i obviously have not seen if i passed or failed but i'm feeling really lousy about the whole thing. i heard that you can access the board of nursing website in your state and find out before the 48 hour time period does anyone know if this is true??:wink2:

hi there. it seems a lot of people feel that way. anyway, i see you're from ohio. since you took it yesterday, try going to https://license.ohio.gov/lookup . all you need to fill in is your first and last name and go to the drop down menu and scroll to ohio board of nursing. it will take you to a page of names that match yours (ie. there would be a lot of a common name). scroll down to the one with your city (probably near the bottom since they seem to be in order) and click on your name. it says pending if you haven't tested or if your score isn't in yet. if you passed it will say either approved or active. i don't know what it says if you don't pass it. i would give it until this evening at least. one of my classmates took it monday and the results weren't posted until late tuesday.

good luck!!!!!

i've tried that site all day and still no results yet...thank you so much!! i'm glad you mentioned you didn't know what it said if you failed either, i hope it says pending...that would be awful if everyone could see that you failed.:o :uhoh3: i also tried the nclex website, if you passed then there is a credit card info page for the $7+ charge. once again, no luck. i'll keep ya posted. thanks again!!!
