Hey everyone, I took my NCLEX-RN this morning *cringes*
My test shut off at 75 questions and I am extremely nervous! Pearson Vue offers "unofficial" results in 48 hours. I am willing to pay for that, my question is, what is the likelihood that that is the incorrect results? Is it even worth paying for? I would have to sit through the weekend until next week for BON results I think because the weekend is coming up (do they do results over the weekend?)
So should I do the unofficial or wait?! Help! I am dying with anxiety haha I don't want them to give me a good answer but in actuality the answer is bad

The results are unofficial as only a BoN can grant licensure or release official results. Quick results are 100% accurate relevant to pass/fail but not a guarantee a license would be granted.
I know someone who passed the NCLEX but was not granted a license related to accidentally failing to inform the BoN of a pending felony charge/arrest. But the quick results were accurate. They did pass the NCLEX

Yes I did quick results for my nclex that I took two weeks ago on a Friday....can I tell you I was a crab monster until that Sunday! My test stopped at 75 and my eyes got big as someone with thyroid issues....I seriously was angry because I didn't feel like the computer allowed me time to prove myself....now I prayed for a 75q test but was willing to sit there through a 265 q test if it meant I passed. It was not a pleasure to live with me until I got those quick results on Sunday. Do yourself and those who have to live with you a favor and get those quick results....it was the best thing I did for myself and my family....hehehehe but your mind won't really be at ease until you get that license#....heheheh
Well, I don't have any felony charges haha so I think I will actually pay for those quick results. I am so anxious now I don't know what I will do with myself!

Calm down and try to relax. Save your money and wait for the official results.

After the stress and cost of nursing school $8 was a very small price to pay to get peace of mind after a 48 hour wait.

I didn't pay for quick results and I am glad. I had a license on the BON website before the quick results would have shown me anything.
