Hi everyone, I have created this thread so we can keep each other updated on applying for nursing program.
Hi everyone!
I too am applying for the Spring 2016 class and I know of 3 others who are applying as well. All four of us are applying with a deficit of one class (we are all currently completing our last pre-requisite course) so the challenge is even greater. (I know someone mentioned they are in Bubb's CHEM 108 class; that's the class I'm taking right now.) Hearing how some of you have 94 points overall makes me a little nervous as I'm applying with 90 points overall (if I did the math correctly). However, I'm not going to stress over it as I know that if I don't get in for the Spring, I will have a better chance for Summer admission once my Chem class is completed. I scheduled my signing session for October 9th at 11 a.m. Is anyone else in that session?
My signing is still October 1 as of right now. However, I might have to reschedule. As far as applying with pre-reqs still in progress, it's still possible but is a nail-biting experience Spring sessions typically have a lower cutoff so I think with 90 points you definitely have a chance.
Hello everyone. I am getting ready to take my HESI in early October with my signing towards the end of October. I was wanting to know how difficult the A & P section was on the test? Did anyone use the practice exams provided from the Elsevier book or the Mometrix book and if so, were any of those questions relatable to the actual questions on the HESI exam?

The one thing that I didn't like about the HESI was in the reading comprehension section--some of the questions seemed ambiguous and asked you to draw conclusions. The rest of it wasn't too difficult.
I used Elsevier's HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review and HESI A2 Secrets Study Guide by Mometrix.
