Hi everyone! =) I'm Renee. I'm applying for Spring 2016 as well. I'm scheduled to take the HESI this Oct 12. Good luck to everyone! Hopefully, we all get in!! This by far is the longest fall semester ever :cry: :arghh:

Apparently a comment I left earlier didn't post :/ Anyway, welcome Renee :) Chem isn't too hard, especially if you keep up with the masteringchemistry website lessons/homework. As Kat said, let us know when you schedule your signing.

Thank you!! Also, I just read your post and you said you just took Chem this summer with Spangelo? I was in that class too! I didn't think the class was that hard as long as you keep up with the work but I may have taken more "work" than I could handle. I had another class besides chem and a FT job so with that being said, I didn't get the grade that I wanted. I'm retaking the class this sem just in case I don't get in for Spring. In that way, when I apply again I would have a higher score. If my calculations are right, my score is around 89.(something) .. not sure what my exact score is.. but that's without the HESI.. So the HESI can either make me or break me lol..Oh and my signing session is on Oct 16 @ 11AM.. I wonder how many students are applying for Spring.. :unsure:

Mines is the same time! We will see each other then I am done with everything but I am thinking maybe I should retake hesi or not, but I don't want to. I have 90.8 points all together and I see that everyone is gonna be in the high 94s, and its getting me worried a little lol. It seems like its getting more competitive every semester. I know spring has less applicants but it could go up and down.

Oh gosh, I haven't heard too many people say they're applying in spring or have that high of points, but we will see. I hope it's not like fall. Does anyone know what the cutoff for last spring was?

That's so funny that you were in that class too. I took BIOL 224 the month after that and did not personally meet a single person from that class who was applying for spring.

As far as last spring's session, I saw on a thread that someone was accepted with an 89.4. I'm not sure what the exact cutoff was though.

Yeah they told me it was 89-90s for Spring 2015.

I take my HESI in 2 weeks and am taking Chem right now... How did everyone do on their HESI? I pretty much need a 98% composite to get 90.5 points which was I think was the cut off for last spring. It's not totally unattainable but a lot of pressure!
