Hi all!

I start classes with UW tomorrow. I'm planning on taking 3 semesters to finish an will graduate after Spring 2007. I am taking Pathophysiology, Intro to Higher Education in Nursing, Cultural Diversity in Family Health Care, Health Assessment, and Community Health. Anyone either have any of these courses yet or taking them this semester??

Elizabeth, RN

hi Elizabeth, last semester was my first at uw and i enjoyed it. patho was interesting, although a lot of readying, n3010 was your basic intro class. i am taking astronomy, n3020 and n3040 this semester, and am trying to get into another one...i think 4250. i hope u don't work fulltime with all those classes!! that's a lot, but if u want to do it, i am sure u can. good luck to u!

me too...although the not being able to copulate and being in love at such a young age for buffy seemed pretty heartbreaking...but that is what made it good i guess!!

Elizabeth,

I'm taking Cultural Diversity, Health Assessment, Health Promotion, and Research this semester. I took patho and Intro to Higher Ed in Nursing last semester. Those two classes weren't bad at all. Good luck!

Looks like I am in class with some people here. Have a good semester everyone!!!

I see that some of you did or are enrolled at this time at Wyoming U. for your rnbsn. Im in the process of finding online nursing rnbs program. I was wondering if i can get some advice/suggestions. I've look into UOP, Indiana S. U, and Indiana Wesleyan University. I heard WU is not as expensive as some of the others. Any comparison as far as scholastics. Please respond if you can. Getting anxious trying to decide.

Hi all -- I too am trying to transfer into an online RN to BSN program... I'm currently a stay at home mom so don't have tons of extra money though so am looking for the most affordable program. This looks pretty good -- I checked out their website and see it is $92/credit hour + $40/$50 per credit hour since it is online -- Is that right??? I live in California and was also wondering about the clinical component if anyone has done that yet. Thanks!! I'm currently enrolled in Touro University pursuing a Health Education degree but I'm thinking I want to go ahead with the BSN instead.

Any updates on the program?

Hi Michelle

I am also in MA. I am pplying today. I finish my first year of my ADN in May, and will take patho and pharm this summer. I hope to take 1 class next fall, and one next spring. Then I will hit it full force when I have graduated from the ADN program. My goal is to complete the BSN my May 2008. I will keep you posted on the progress. The only reason I am doing this online program vs UMass is that I will finish sooner and I want to apply to grad school ASAP.

Any updates on the program?

Hey everyone...the tuition sounds about right as the previous poster listed. the classes are very doable, I am in 4 and working 14 12hr shifts a month...and have 4 little rugrats. I haven't had any prob with the program so far, able to ask ques of instructor with quick email responses, etc. lots of threaded discussion for class interactions in the nursing classes. and hey Elizabeth, we are in some classes together! your name is familiar. hope everything is going well for all, and good luck to everyone in their decisions (sp?).

Wow missnurse01.... you are taking 4 classes??? and working and taking care of 4 little ones!!!! I am mighty impressed!!!!! I am finishing up one class at Touro University. I was working toward a Health Education degree but have decided to get my BSN instead. I will hopefully transfer to U of W's online RN to BSN program very soon. Glad to hear you are doing so well -- gives me a feeling of hope that it will be doable for me too!!

I am in the first semester of the program and love it. I love online formats because they work well no matter what your schedule is like. I think the instructors I have at UW are great. They respond to questions in a reasonable amount of time and are very active on the web sites we use for class discussions. There is a lot of work involved with most of my classes, but I didn't expect any less of a BSN program. The tuition is also very reasonable. I would recommend the program to anyone.

Elizabeth
