Looked for another thread but couldn't find one, anyone applying to University of Washington's (UW) DNP program starting Autumn 2021?
What track is everyone applying to?
Does anyone know if any one thing is worth more weight in admissions (GPA, LORs, Experience, etc.)?
Does anyone know the profile of a competitive applicant? Someone in the 2020 thread posted a link for admission stats from 2018, looked like around a 35-45% acceptance rate, depending on the track. I haven't been able to find any updated information. Anyone have any?
I'll be applying to the Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP track!
I applied to the AGACNP track. I have a little over 2 years RN experience between stepdown/ICU/COVID units with a crappy undergrad GPA (2.5) and a decent entry to practice masters’ GPA (3.5). Tons of volunteer experience. References from an MSN, DNP, MD.
I also applied to Seattle U, Duke, LSU, Arizona, Georgetown.
what about everyone else?

I attempted it and it just said: This is where you'll see the prompt and an empty box under to write. It's just a practice to get familiar with the format but they didn't actually have a "practice essay."

That's exactly what mine did too.. and it was on an updated version of chrome like they recommended. It's making me really nervous for the real thing!

I looked at Duke and Georgetown for the AGACNP, they're about the same price as UW though and that's only getting you an MSN. Just trying for UW this go around. I have two MDs and a nursing instructor (MSN) for letters of rec, and a 3.91 GPA. Best of luck! Hopefully we both get in!

I have about 7 months of ED experience. What areas and how much experience does everyone else have?
