Hi all,
I am a new grad nurse very interested in the DNP/FNP program at the University of Washington. As many of you know, UW is highly competitive and is ranked #4 in the nation for nursing graduate school (I believe!). I have sifted through numerous past threads about the UW DNP/FNP program and noticed many members have been accepted to their program. As a new grad very eager to continue my education and very interested in the UW DNP/FNP program, do those individuals who have applied to the UW DNP/FNP program have any advice for those applying for the fall of 2016 (more specifically on the essay/personal statement)? Your comments would be very much appreciated! Thank you :)
Haha thought I was the only one! Hope the month passes quickly for you!
And I re-read the AGNP page again...they do list wanting recent experience. Does not say required but highly recommended. Sigh. So it's on me for not reading or just bypassing. Good luck to you again. Here's to counting down the next month!!
The grad school application website says they will notify you of their decision via mail and email. I'm assuming the website will update the status as well. Right now I've been in "submitted" status since submission on 1/9/16. I'm hoping we hear soon. It seems like posters from previous cohorts have said here that it is sometime in this week or the latest of next week when we get notified.

~1 month away until we know. Despite this, I am still checking the application website as part of my daily routine now.
