Hi NP hopefuls! Starting a thread for those applying to the UVic NP Program for fall 2025. I am an RN who graduated from U of C in 2020 and have been working in cardiology in Calgary since.

I got waitlisted for the post MN NP. Does anyone know if it's a separate waitlist or if it's all one?

Hey, I just got waitlisted for the post MN NP too. I have the same question 🙂 I'm assuming it's two different lists.

Question: did you finish your MN before you applied or will you be done by the time the program starts?

I completed my MN this time last year. I just heard back, about 30 minutes ago.

Does anyone know how many spots for post MN NP there is? Just trying to get a sense of how optimistic I should be with my waitlist spot

I was told last year they saved 5 out of the 50 seats for post masters students. Not sure if that's the same for this year though
