Good news for the people in Oklahoma. The University of Tulsa is up for initial accreditation from the Council on Accreditation for the Fall of 2016. Hopefully all goes well and we will finally have a CRNA program in the state of Oklahoma.

@TruTexan it way my first and only application. It’s a very diverse cohort. It took  about a week and a half after the last interview to send out acceptance letters.

Thank you for the information.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for the interview. Are there things I should focus on when preparing? Really appreciate your help.

Just be yourself. Appear teachable, if you have your CCRN, most of your questions will be about your personality. What have you done with you degree ...

just be yourself and stay calm. You’re good enough if they invite you for the interview.

@mp016 I interviewed last week. Microsoft teams was new but nothing super difficult. It was a basic interview. I agree with @CVIseeyouRNarmy. You got this. Hope to see you in class

@CVIseeyouRNarmy and @utekid9 Thank you for the tips! I really appreciate it. Definitely nerve wracking, so this helps. ?

Wish I would’ve came back on this thread sooner. I had an interview earlier this week. They told me approx. 117 applied, 61 given interviews, and 16 spots. I know today is the last day for interviews. Anyone else told this in their interview as well?

@OKC-RN they didn’t mention that in my interview. Was that something you asked? How did you feel your interview went? So glad it’s over but the waiting is terrible!

I thought it went well. I had some major technical difficulties the first 10 min because it kept echoing when I talked and then I had to try to fix it. I’m still mad at myself and cringing about that part. But other than that,  very relaxed and comfortable setting. They are so nice and easy to talk to. How about you?

@OKC-RNyes, they were so nice! Definitely made me feel comfortable and the nerves went away pretty quick. I think it went well but I keep overthinking it. Not a lot of negative feedback but they did mention an experience area I could work on, so maybe that’s a sign I didn’t get in. Did you have any comments like that?

I didn’t have any comments like that but that shouldn’t make you feel any negative thoughts about your interview though. I’m sure they could have found some areas for me to work on too.

Did they tell you when they'll get back to you with a decision?

They said by Thanksgiving. Did they tell you that too?
