Hey everyone, I just thought I would start a thread on the USF 2024 DNAP admissions. As the priority deadline of August 15th is approaching fast, I would love to hear from others.

Anyone know around how many people got off waitlist last year?

Hey guys just wanted to update those that are waiting but we just got an email saying the cohort is full and they made a waitlist!

Thank you for the update

I know of one, with whom I used to work with. I'm not sure how many they place on a waitlist though.

Thanks for letting us know. Has anyone heard back about the waitlist? Or a rejection?

BSN 3.7x GPA, science GPA 4.0, GRE score 320s

1.5 years CVICU experience at a level 1 trauma when application submitted, participation in unit & hospital committees.

CCRN, CSC, BLS/ACLS/PALS

Not sure if the GRE will be required when you start, so I'd say to make yourself stand out focus on a second cert once you have your CCRN, I did CSC because my cardiac surgical background but TCRN or anything else should be a boost. The faculty also stated that having PALS already when you apply also is a boost for your application. Every applicant you're going up against is a smart student and good ICU nurse so you need to do everything you can to stand out.

Not sure, but pretty sure that the faculty said that people from the waitlist get in pretty much every year. Another school that I interviewed at said that they ended up taking their entire waitlist last year.

Also looking to apply for 2025, the GRE will not longer be required?

Hello,

I was just wondering if GRE would be removed.

Do you mean as a requirement? That would be a question for the school.

I did contact the advisor, she did confirm it is still a requirement
