Hello! Has anyone applied to University of South Alabama NP program that starts in the Summer of 2017? I have (have no heard whether accepted or not) and was just wanting to connect with some people! What is everyone's experience? Has anyone heard anything about this cycle of admission?

Trying to get a link that will work for anyone else who comes along and reads this. But if the link does not work the page is called University of South ALABAMA summer 2017.

I got into the Summer FNP program. Super excited.

I applied for Fall 2017 BSN-DNP Psychiatric track. I have above a 3.7 GPA but I've only been a nurse for a year and a half and most of my experience is in the OR but I also have a bachelor's in psychology and a lot of relevant psych experience with that. I think it said somewhere that as long as you have 2 years of experience relevant to the field by the time you start clinicals, (which is at least a year, right?) then you could qualify, which I would have enough psych RN experience by then. Did y'all read it that way as well? Congrats to everyone who got in for summer!

Hey!! I was accepted for the 2017 Summer session for AGACNP/FNP Dual Role!! #EXCITED

Specializes in Cardiac/Neuro tele, ER, ICU.

I am a student in my last semester of the dual program in USA. Join Facebook for your classes and you will be successful. Good luck!!!

Hi! I'm applying to the USA FNP/ACNP program for next Spring (2018), and just want some insight about that particular program, and wanted to know stats of people that have been accepted. I have two bach degrees, (psychology and BSN), GPA cumulative 3.2 (haven't seen what it will be on NursingCAS yet), science GPA 4.0, nursing GPA 3.7, 2 years ICU experience, 1 year clinical instructor. I'm not sure how competitive the program is now, and wondering if I should try to take my CCRN before applying. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I was accepted for this Summer session and I do not have any ICU or ER experience. My experience is 10+ yrs medsurg. Since I do not have that experience I have to complete clinical hours in an ICU or ER prior to the start of the acute care rotation. Hope this was helpful!! Good Luck!!

I am finishing my second semester and will be graduating December 2018 in Adult Gero Primary Care.

Wow! That's great! How is your experience going so far with the Adult-Gero Primary Care program? Any advice you can give to future AGNP students who have applied to this school?

Get pharm and patho out of the way. If at all possible take them in another school and transfer them!

Hello everyone! Congrats on everyone who received their acceptance letters. Does anyone have any info on the Neonatal NP program at USA? I think I saw someone had been accepted. I am looking to start summer/fall of 2018 and want to know what GPA is considered competitive.

Hi there! I am looking to apply to the Neonatal NP track as well. Can you give me some information on your experience so far? And if you don't mind telling me what GPA would be competitive etc.
