University of South Alabama NP Spring 2020 applicants

Hey guys!

Just wanting to see how many of you are applying to USA FNP program for next Spring? Any recent graduates or current students who can give insight on how the program is? I see mixed reviews about most schools I look into so just curious on what peoples thoughts about USA are. Does anyone know how many students they accept? Just submitted my supplementary application today so the waiting begins!

Mine still says "submitted" only, no in progress like yours, but I also applied for a different track. ?‍♀️

That 2nd one say in progress because I went in to see if it would let start another application for the same term....figuring that it wouldnt if I was accepted. My original one says submitted

I look at a previous post for the 2019 spring class, they have the same deadline of 7/15. Students started receiving acceptance emails on 8/30. Not too much longer, but the wait is killing me!

I’m actually starting 9/3. I’m excited and nervous all at once! Love the feedback from the prior students. I can’t wait to get this journey started and finally finished!!!

You won't see any updates on the supplemental application page. You'll get an email from the College of Nursing ([email protected]) when you're accepted. They email acceptance notifictions in batches, so it takes about a week from the first notifications for everyone in all tracks to be notified.

Ok...so, I can quit refreshing my page every 5 min...is that what you're saying?? BAHAHAHA. Thank you for letting me know! How long does it take for all applicants to find out? A week, two, three?

As I stated in my previous reply, once announcements start going out, it takes about a week to notify all applicants. If you want to know the tentative date they'll start sending notifications, you can always email them at CONGRADAPP@southalabama.edu
