University of San Francisco CNL Entry Masters

Did anyone else apply to the University of San Francisco Entry Masters program for Summer '09? How do the notifications go out? Anyone accepted or rejected yet? I just submitted my app 2 weeks ago. Any info on this school including competitiveness would be helpful. I have 3.57 undergrad GPA, 4.0 science pre-reqs, clinical experience. Thanks!

I finally got in contact with them, and letters are going out today. She didn't say whether or not those were acceptance and/or rejection letters. I am not trying to be pessimistic, but I am guessing they are rejection letters due to some people posting here that they got phone calls. I hope I am wrong. Best of luck!

I am on the waitlist for Non-nurse MSN-CNL but it seems like a slim chance of getting because not many declined admission. oh well.:o

Don't get down on yourself. I was waitlisted two years ago for the MSN program at USF. I got accepted in and I'm graduating next week. Sometimes life comes thru and surprises you. Keep your chin up!!!

I'm sorry to hear that. I went thru 8 rejections from other school before I got accepted to USF. And to be quite honest, it has become even more competitive (if that is even possible) because of people going back to school, looking for new careers, etc. So don't let this get you down. Hopefully, if you've applied to multiple schools you'll hear something positive back soon. Nursing is a great career and now more than ever we need people who really want to be a nurse and have a passion about it.

Hi everyone, I really need all of your help and advice!!

I am a post bac. student who is interested in the CNL program. I am not sure if I am competitive enough to apply and I want to hear your opinion,

I have a 3.27 GPA as an undergrad at UW, a 3.69 GPA in pre-reqs for Nursing, and have volunteered in health care of the past year and have over 500 volunteer hours in the hospital. I also have AIDS/HIV training, CPR and volunteer at a homeless shelter. What do you guys think?

I applied to another Entry Level masters for nursing and got rejected! What should I do? thanks for any advice!:heartbeat

I was accepted last year to USF. I had a 3.57 undergrad, BA in psych. 4.0 in nursing pre-reqs. 3 years as an EMT in an emergency department.
