Did anyone else apply to the University of San Francisco Entry Masters program for Summer '09? How do the notifications go out? Anyone accepted or rejected yet? I just submitted my app 2 weeks ago. Any info on this school including competitiveness would be helpful. I have 3.57 undergrad GPA, 4.0 science pre-reqs, clinical experience. Thanks!
I was the first one to apply for Cupertino campus. The dead line was Oct. 15. So they say I would here from them in 4-6 weeks after that. No-one called me after 5 weeks, so I called them. I was told that someone will let me know for sure before November 26. Guess what? No-one contacted me. And last week I got a phone call and was told that my application was not included in the last process, so you can imagine how mad I got, the first one to apply and no-one didn’t even look at my application. I was gonna call them tomorrow but got a letter today. So I guess I’m not happy because I was so nervous for the last 3 months.
Congratulations! I can't say I blame you for being frustrated. A lot of us that applied to the non-nurse MSN-CNL program got told that we were on the waitlist, but weren't given a ranking. Then we were told we were going to hear by 12/7, and some people have been called and told to wait. I have called, emailed, etc., and haven't heard anything. A yes or no would be great at this point!

Hi there,
I am interested in applying to USF for Summer. My understanding is that this cohort begins the end of May. Is this correct? I'm concerned about getting my last two prereqs (lifespan and speech) done considering I work full time and winter sessions courses have been reduced. Most city colleges Spring sessions end in June, so ... a little overwhelmed. Megan McDrew emailed me that the speech requirement is a public speaking one, a little confusing considering their website notes "public speaking or oral communication." Just wondering when (and the campus location) you began. Thank you.
