University of San Francisco BSN Spring 2014

Published

Hello!

I know it's still early on in the game but I was wondering if anyone applied for USFs BSN program for spring 14? I just applied. IF so, do you mind sharing your GPA, Volunteer/Work experience? :)

@w3st @ toga girl does your email say "dear new USF student" I think it's a little bit odd that it doesn't say my name. Maybe I'm just being paranoid

@ Jc90 yeah mine says "Dear new USF Student!" the message I received doesn't address me personally either :]

When I called yesterday they told me that all the decisions haven't been made. Don't give up everyone! As for my last name and stats, my name starts with a P, my GPA is a 3.7, 2 letters of recommendation, volunteer work at a hospital, and 3 years of student government in college.

W3st, I was worried about the same thing. I hope I get the letter in the mail today so I know it's real. Fingers crossed!

Togagirl did you get my pm?

@Jc90 yes I just responded!

Hey guys could you clarify something. So we can't start clinicals until spring 2015 but can we still take other nursing courses that aren't the clinical courses ? I'm confused sorry if this sounds naive.

Don't worry @w3st I'm confused as well. So if you've already taken all the prereqs then you need to enroll in at least one unit to save your spot. I don't think there are any other nursing classes to take before clinicals. I'm going to try to set up a meeting with a counselor because I'm still a student at sfsu working on my Health Education degree.

Hello everyone! So this is my first time spying for the nursing program I have a 3.2 gpa. B's in all science prereqs. And I have been working asa caregiver since I was 18. I'm 28 now! I've also done some community work for the food bank. I'm so nervous I haven't heard from tthm yet. Does anyone know how many applied for spring 2014?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering for those of you who were accepted, did you guys have any prerequisite in progress? Thanks!

As for everyone else who haven't received anything yet, I just called the transfer admissions. They said not every acceptance or denial letters/emails has been sent out yet. It could be in the next couple of days. And if you don't receive it In the next couple of days, you can give them a call and they will help you check. And you will hear your acceptance or denial in BOTH email and mail she says. Hope his helps. I'm just as nervous as you are!
