University of San Francisco BSN Spring 2014

U.S.A. California

Hello!

I know it's still early on in the game but I was wondering if anyone applied for USFs BSN program for spring 14? I just applied. IF so, do you mind sharing your GPA, Volunteer/Work experience? :)

Thanks Yeager91! I am reapplying this semester because I was denied for spring 2013. I really hope there is a better chance even though not much has changed since I applied in spring 2013. I rewrote my essays and continued my volunteer assignment. Do you know why there is a better chance the second time applying?

I definitely recommend taking some of USF's values mentioned in their mission statement and try to incorporate it in your essay. I think you have a better chance of getting in the second time because it shows persistence and allows them the opportunity to see what you have changed in your life since last applying and why you really want to go to USF.

Can anyone tell me what the required prerequisites for a transfer student are? I am wanting to apply for Spring 2015.

they don't give a lot of info on their site

Hi Brooke,

Their prereqs are Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition, Statistics, Psychology. You can email them for specific Articulation Agreements depending which school you are from, to match it with what USF requires.

They also have other core requirements such as Public speaking, Statistics, Humanities (literature/history) philosophy, ethics, social sciences, and visual/performing arts...in this core requirement list, it does not need to be completed prior to applying to the program, and can be completed at the USF campus if you get accepted. :)

Good luck!

Thank you for leaving a comment. I heard the program is 3 years long even if you have all the core classes complete. Is this true?
