University of San Francisco BSN Spring 2014

Hello!

I know it's still early on in the game but I was wondering if anyone applied for USFs BSN program for spring 14? I just applied. IF so, do you mind sharing your GPA, Volunteer/Work experience? :)

Hi all. For those that are still waiting I called transfer admissions and they said we should be receiving word by this Friday. If we don't hear anything by then, call them on Monday to see what the hold ups about!

Hey everyone,

That's really odd. I just called transfer admission 15 mins ago. They said we won't be sending anything out until mid of December which is some time next week. I mentioned that I know some people who have already gotten their acceptance letters. She says she doesn't know why, but she's been told mid December. This is what she has been telling everyone all day through the phone. I am so confused. They are sort of unorganized and there seems to be a lot of miscommunications. Anyone else heard anything else?

I have contacted a transfers admissions officer who told me that all acceptances have already been sent out last week.

She did not specifically say I was rejected, but she asked if I wanted to have my application considered for Fall 2014 instead. I am assuming that this means I did not get in.

@FTF4, if USF was your first choice you should apply again. Those of us that got accepted won't start clinicals until spring 15 so if you get in for fall 14, you will essentially start clinicals at the same time as us.

Thanks FTF4 for sharing. I guess we all just have to reapply next semester then. I am gettin the wrong messages then apparently. They are so unorganized, it's getting ridiculous.

Hey I may have some insight to what the hold up is. We were given until the 20th to accept their offer and send in our deposit. I am assuming that some people may decline their admission. Because of this, I think that the school is waiting to see how many people accept their admissions before sending a few more letters out (to compensate for those who declined). Just a theory- hope this makes sense...

I was told the 15th is the deadline in which everybody should have been notified !

The intent to enroll form say it's due on the 15th however the acceptance email from the admission director said it's on the 20th.

Oh my god, but from reading earlier posts on this forum some ppl already got their denial letters last week as well. As for me, still waiting... I just want to know already...
