University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

Published

Hi everyone,

My name is Justine. I applied for U of R ABPNN for January of '19. I am still waiting for a response for an admissions decision but haven't heard anything back. Has anyone else applied and heard back from the program?

there are still holds on my account :/ are they being slow with taking holds off for anyone else? I had everything in last week, and have tried to reach out but they aren't emailing me back

Nope. Still can't do it. But I got all my holds taken care of, so I'll be able to sign up for classes today! Wooh!

Oh. And I called the admissions office several times and pretty much forced them to take off the holds. I had everything in, I handed it directly to people and watched them go through all the papers. The lady in the office told me that I don't NEED to sign up for classes today and that a lot of people don't have all their stuff in yet, but I really want to sign up for classes, so I pushed it pretty hard.

Same I had handed everything in person last week and called Monday and had them remove the remaining holds. I also want to schedule for classes today, I want to get into the earlier lab slots as I have a son and want to see him a little bit in the evenings!

I just emailed the health insurance office and one of the advisors just emailed me back stating they are currently working on getting the site back open but we might not be able to do until tomorrow.

Just got all registered for classes! Last things on the list for me now is waiving the insurance and applying for those nasty private loans once we get the financial information! What about everyone else?

Congrats!!! Same for me... I'm registered for my classes. Just have to apply for those dreadful loans and waive the insurance.

Same!! I got my holds taken off and still got into the early labs :) not looking forward to the loans... I'm paying for it but don't qualify as an independent so I doubt I will get much financial aid at all

I chose the early labs as well!! Yayyy :)! I qualified as independent but he told me I'm only getting around 19K for the entire year , which is like 12K for the first and second semester. I'm sure I'll have to beg my parents to co-sign for me. That's the only thing I'm worried about.

I'm an old person, so I definitely qualify as independent. Unfortunately the government likes to take the money I make working full time into account which I won't be doing when I'm in school, so I doubt I'll get much. But I also signed up for the early labs! Yay!

The website is open to waive or enroll for insurance! They need a lot of info about your current insurance if you are waiving so I can't do it now but it definitely seems like it's open

Did you all get your financial aid info from the office yet? I haven't heard anything
