Starting a thread for those applying to the University of Rochester ABPNN September 2018 start date. Anyone finished their applications yet?

@tally5nurse No but I will call later on today. Have you called them to know your status? Did anyone get accepted yet?

I just called and they said the decisions have been made and that the letters will be sent out next week. I'm just curious as to if we call, if we can find out over the phone rather than waiting another week or so?

@futurenursingstudent96, Did you ask them if they could tell you your status over the phone? Exciting and nerve wracking though that they've made their decisions (finally!!)

I think I was just so nervous I didn't even ask (I know, stupid of me). But I'm sure if more people begin to call, they're bound to start giving answers! And I just spoke to the receptionist who answered the phone. Unfortunately, I'm headed off into work so I won't be able to call again this afternoon.

I taught the school will contact people that are accepted. Will the school call people that are accepted? When did they made a decision? I will call them later on today to know my status.

They said that they would call those who were accepted. I have been following previous years' threads and other students have called in to find out their status and received an answer over the phone. All they told me was that they have made decisions and the information packets would be mailed out next week.

Do you know if they will accept people by alphabetically order by using their last name or they will call people randomly? If they do call people by alphabetically order i will be one of the first people because my last name start will a C.

So I just called to see if they would tell me if I was accepted or not, and the person I spoke to said the committee hasn't met yet, and that doesn't happen until June 14th. So she said they haven't made final decisions yet. We keep getting conflicting information!

I called today and I asked when would you make a decision and they said tomorrow they will call to tell who got accepted.

Has anyone heard anything yet? I applied for the September cohort and interviewed in March, anxiously awaiting a decision!! Best of luck to everyone!
