University of Rochester ABPNN May 2015

Hey everyone !

I applied for the May 2015 ABPNN program and already had my phone interview. I just wanted to post a thread for whoever else is applying for this cycle. If you'd like to share your statistics, information about Rochester, how your interview went feel free! Good luck to everyone!

I applied to Georgia Kennesaw univ .. they will start reviewing by March 1st

Wait seriously?? I was accepted last week, but due to the storms in Boston, still have not received my info packet - and I have to decide by the 23rd???? I'll be out of the country starting this weekend. Rough.

Is that just for the ABPNN or for the Masters too?

Check with NK about the AMPNN deadline. Psych hasn't made decisions yet so if all goes well, I'm hoping their deposit deadline will at least be in March. But if they told you last week there's definitely a chance they'll hold you to the ABPNN deadline.

I also applied to Vanderbilt, Columbia, Yale and MGH. The last two won't make decisions until the end of the month, probably. So a later deposit deadline would be ideal.

Yes Snoozie, that is what I was told as well, for the Masters I am unsure of the deadline, foe the ABPNN she said no later than 23rd and I sti did not recieve my packet.

I have applied to Marquette University, Seton Hall, UIC, University of Miami, NYU, and Millikin University ( bdw if anyone is looking for a direct entry CNL program, look into Millikin they accept up to 20 students and are also on rolling admissions. I met with the director and faculty, and they changed their program from the previous years and the program seems great!)

I just emailed NK asking about my admissions status. I'm really hoping to hear some good news. Congrats to all of you who were accepted !!!:)

Now if only they'd let me know their final decision before next week so I'd have at least two weeks to start weighing options and financial aid packages. What was the turnaround time for you from the AMPNN interview to when they gave you the decision?

At the very, least Feb 27th should be the big day for Yale so you can make an informed decision.

Hm ok. When I spoke to my interviewer it sounded like they were trying to cram all the psych AMPNN interviews in this week so they could make a decision "within a few weeks." If they're holding the Feb 27th deposit deadline for all admitted AMPNN-ers, they better get those decisions out by early next week!
