University of Rochester ABPNN Fall 2012

Hello Everybody:

I decided to make this new thread for the students that are applying to the ABPNN (University of Rochester) for the fall 2012. I have been reading other posts from previous cohorts, but haven't found anyone for the fall 2012 cohort. I sent my application a few days ago, so now I'm in the WAITING process. Does anyone know how long is going to take them to have the final results? Any comments will be appreciated and will help us to stay on top of the GAME!! Good luck to all of you!!:up:

what I was told in the interview is that this year they are interviewing close to 240 people and will select 60. which is the same chance 25%, just different numbers.... cant wait to next week since UR is my first option.

I've posed this question before, however, does anyone know how we'll be contacted regarding accept/waitlist/rejections? I called the office and the woman who answered the phone did not know.

they told me that once accepted we are gonna hear by phone. I also guess that by mail too. hope that helps!!!

So, I guess it'll be safe to assume that if we don't get a call by Friday, we're on the waitlist or did not get in. Gotta love the waiting game :)

I called Nancy today and she told me i was placed on the waiting list :no:

She did say that they will be mailing letters to those accepted sometime next week. My question is how likely are they to select someone from the waiting list? Nancy said that i may have to wait until mid August (which is a long time to wait considering that i still have to move and find a place to stay if accepted). I applied to another school and i'm yet to hear back as well.

I just called and ..... told me I was ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, hope to hear from u guys soon.... best of luck!!!

Congrats!! I just called and they don't have a decision for me yet. My stomach is turning. I had a late interview so I'm hoping that's why :(I sincerely hope the folks on the wait list hear before mid August, how is anyone supposed to plan?

Thanks, you'll see that there are people that are gonna decide not to go and spaces are gonna be open!!!

I got wait listed too :( Does anyone know how many people were accepted, not how many spots? Aka-56 spots, but they accepted 66 and waitlisted 20.
