Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

Specializes in CVICU/CICU.

Hey everyone! Just joining in as I applied to Pitt as well. Good luck to us all! We will end up where we belong!

Specializes in ICU.

I am looking through my old emails with admissions prior to submitting my application. I asked about responding to all the prompts for the essay and the reply was: Yes, please address all of the prompts. There is not a page or word limit. Typical admission essays are 3-5 pages.

Has anyone gotten an interview invitation??

Same here, just checking

Specializes in Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist (SRNA).

Will be applying for the second deadline.  They told me they would still offer interviews and seats from the second deadline.  I wonder if they don't typically get enough applicants by the first deadline (which I find hard to believe) and how they decide who gets interviewed for the second deadline.

Does anyone know their updates acceptance rate?

Do applicants who submit by the Feb 15th get priority?

I don't think so.  I was told by the program that those who apply before the second deadline will still be considered, interviewed, and accepted into the program.

I don't mind.

So, my BSN GPA was 3.72. My experience is 1.5 years MICU, 1.5 STICU (Concurrent), and 1.5 years CTICU (Current). I was wound care and code committee (MICU/STICU), Unit Based Council (CTICU), Preceptor (All), volunteer experience in an equine therapy barn for kids with sensory deficits and adults with disabilities, and I have 12 hours of CRNA shadowing. I have my CCRN, CSC, CMC, and TNCC as well for certifications. I did not take the GRE.

Anyone have any idea when we might start hearing about interviews?
