Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

As far as I've read back in previous years, I believe calls come out after the deadline, but before the second deadline. I could be wrong though, if anyone gets a call let us know!

Hi Daysnight, thank you for sharing this! I also am applying to Pitt this round and I have been super anxious and nervous that I will not get invited to interview as I do not have CMC or CSC. I know those are not required but it seems like lots of people have them and thus makes their applications more competitive. I also have not taken my GRE as many schools are not requiring it anymore and did not want to waste time/money. I do have CCRN, currently have 3 years of ICU experience in CTICU/MICU. I also have BSN 3.77 GPA so I am hoping for that to help me. Any advice?

You have some good stats, if you can try and take the GRE, if you get 300 or above add it on to your application. It tells a lot about an applicants test taking skills. You really don't need it but I would do it just to set myself apart from the rest. Good luck

Well, the deed is done! I applied and will now be dying until I hear back! HAHA

Does anyone know how many students they admit each year?

Applied today.

Well, good luck to everyone! It'll be a tough selection but everyone deserves to be there! I was reading last year and it seems interview calls came out around late March.

The class that just started in January has 42 in their cohort.

Did you apply this year or did you get accepted last year?

I applied this past fall for the cohort that would start January 25'. I have friends throughout all 3 current cohorts.

Nice! Did they ever discuss the application process, what the school seemed to key in on in terms of applicants, or how they are liking the program?

Hey all! Question about adding the GRE. I got above a 300 but some of the sections I scored less than 50th percentile. Wondering if anyone (past or present applicants) had some insight on how this would look if I added/omitted this. Thanks!
