Hi I am new to this website. I was wondering if anyone has applied for 2014/2015 CRNA program at University of Pitt and are still waiting on March interviews? I turned in my application mid December and then beginning of January they sent me another form to fill out? Anyone that has interviewed already is that a good sign that I may get an interview with them? Do they call you to notify you if you have an interview, any idea when that may be? Anyone know stats on how many people they interview and how many people usually get in? Sorry lots of questions, getting kind of anxious since I have not heard back yet. Thanks for any info!

I also applied for the 2014/2015 program. I sent my app in end of December and the only feedback I received so far was an email saying that my application was received and is being reviewed. I didn't get another form to fill out. Was it the one asking about your clinical experience or a different one? Also I thought that the website said that they interview Feb 11,12,13. Do you know if those dates were pushed back to march? I'm sure that they would call to schedule an interview though. I'm also getting anxious since it is getting closer to interview time!

yes it was a two page paper that on the front asked how often you saw and did things, the second page asked about volunteer experience, school, publications you have had, and groups you participate in at work. Is this the form you had already filled out? I emailed them the other day and they said if we get an interview we should get a call the last week of January and then yes interviews are still those dates in feb. Are you coming from out of state or do you live in Pittsburgh? I am just wondering if it is a bad sign since I would be traveling from Chicago....I am feeling a little discouraged. what are your stats if you dont mind me asking?

has anyone heard for the February interviews???? they said end of this month.

My stats: RN for 5 years with 4 of then spent working in a level 1 shock trauma icu. CCRN and moderate sedation certifications. I haven't heard anything yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Have you heard anything or do you know of anyone who has heard? I know they have a round of interviews in November as well so I'm hoping that they didn't fill their spots with those interviews. Do you know if they will notify us if we don't get an interview?

I got a voicemail on my phone the 30th saying to give them a call back. I did and when I gave them my name I could tell she was fumbling around trying to find my info. She offered me an interview-they are interviewing feb 11, 12, 13, 2 time slots each day.

Is anyone still waiting to hear back from PITT? I called in today and I was told that they're still making the last of the calls for interviews. However, everyone should hear back by the end of the week. It's unfortunate that you're not notified if you are not a candidate. I'm also waiting to hear back from a few other schools, but PITT is a top choice. I'm curious if they do two rounds of interviews.

I heard back last Wednesday but it's very possible they are still making calls. But as far as I know, they do 2 rounds of interviews in November I think and then again in feb. If you don't hear by the end of the week, I'd def call again. Hopefully you hear good news soon!

Thanks. I just made the deadline for completing the application process. That may be causing the delay. They reiterated that the earlier you apply the better. Best of luck. I will post regarding any developments.

Anyone heard back from Pitt for final decisions? I am getting nervous....they said by end of February.

I haven't heard back yet either. Hopefully they'll let us know soon. I just want to know either way. This waiting is the worst. I can't even imagine how the people from the December interviews feel.
