University of Pennsylvania (Penn) MSN - Summer 2026

Hi everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to UPenn's MSN programs. I applied to the WHNP program (full-time, Summer 2026 start). From what I understand, we won't hear back until February, which is totally fine. I know the waiting can be tough!

I'd love to hear what programs you're applying to as well. God's blessings to everyone during the process. If it's meant for you, you'll get in!

No I didn't. I know someone in the program now and she said Not everyone get interviews for WHNP. I am praying that is still the case.

Oh wow, based on the other forums it seems everyone was interviewed or at least the ones who got in. You're so lucky to know someone in the program! I wish the whnp program had an ig or something. I want to see what it's really like as a student, especially full time in whnp.

I was told that specifically WHNP not everyone admitted gets interviewed but some do. And I was also told that the fulltime is doable of course lots of information but the professor really want us to succeed. So I appreciate that. What I find helpful was going to the online webinars and going to events at the school so I can meet people and network.

I was told that not everyone gets interviews (especially for my PNP-PC choice), but then in other info sessions I was told that a lot are interviewed even for those that I apply to FNP.  The confusion is getting to me for sure haha.

All the best.  Dumb question, but I take it you applied for Summer?  Or are you a Fall hopeful like me who's only posting here since no one made a said Fall thread haha (also there seems to be other Fall hopefuls here too).

Yes. I applied for the full time starting in Summer

Does anyone's application still say waiting for all materials to be approved. It's the only check I'm missing. Submitted my application very early too. Thanks for the help.

Mine says "materials received". I would reach out to the admissions office. I had the same issue as you did and that was due to an error on my transcript.
