Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to UPenn's Accelerated BSN-MSN program for the 2023 start.

Also got the email. Since this is when decisions are due, it's probably a glitch that the portal doesn't have them. Hopefully something they can correct by the end of the day.

Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one confused. Got the email too and when I saw no actual update I emailed admissions about it. Hopefully this is resolved soon.

I got an email from admissions that the system is slow but we should be able to see updates after 2:30pm EST- good luck to everyone!!!

If they did that with the intent to draw in applications (and application fees) with the goal of just denying them, that would be incredibly unethical, if not unlawful. I agree with your first point, it's likely a need for more applicants or more quality applicants. 

Oh, that's not uncommon in undergraduate admissions. I think it's wrong but it happens quite a lot. The acceptance rate factors into college ranking so class shaping is really a big deal for those departments.

In my letter it states that financial aid packages will be out a week after acceptances. Congrats everyone for getting in - I got in for PNP PC!

Ooh I didn't receive an email about any update yet. Maybe they're rolling it out over the next few days, or by specialty?
