University of Pennsylvania FNP Applicants 2016

Hello everyone!

I just applied for the FNP program at Penn for Fall 2016 start!! I have found tons of threads on here for past cohorts but none for 2016 and I wanted to have a place we could all connect and discuss the application process!! Please feel free to post and let's hope for some acceptances!!!!!

Hey Jessie! Congrats on your acceptance!! You are able to take the research class at a different point in the plan of study. The plan of study just first needs to be revised from the program director. At least the research will be out of the way when you take it in the summer! I'm an hour outside of Philly. How far are you from the Philly area?

Has anyone received any info on the summer research course? I haven't received anything at al- no syllabus or required textbook etc. The class starts on the 17th!

When you sign in to the Penn Portal and look at your class schedule, there's a link that says order textbooks, and the research textbook we need is listed there. That's all I found, I haven't received any additional information or a syllabus though.

Hey everyone! Thanks-- im really excited! I'm going to be living in powelton village in August if anyone wants to meet up before classes begin! This class is a crazy amount of work this first week, especially considering we just got the syllabus! The professor seems kind though. I'm taking it online! You guys can also get he canvas app for iPhone-- it's pretty great.
