University of Oklahoma-Accelerated BSN Program

Hi All,

I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?

I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't get an e-mail, mail or service indicator change as well. I was really hoping to get in too... I'll check my mail today and see if it comes =/

Orientation isnt until January? That is cutting it close... does anyone know the exact dates for open house, orientation, etc (in San Diego) So excited to meet everyone!

btw... thank you everyone for keeping us up to date with everything, especially those in the program giving us advice =) we all really appreciate it.

Are you a Glendale/San Diego applicant?

I spoke with the Glendale Director this morning, and she told me to just wait because the letters were sent out Wednesday last week. Other than that, she didn't give me anymore info.

Yeah, I guess we'll just have to wait until we get the letter.

Did you have any prereq's that you needed to complete? I had two =( I'm scared...

When I applied last fall, I had 2 pending classes - I was actually waitlisted.

This time around, all my classes have been completed.

From what I'm reading, some people were lucky enough to be admitted even though they had classes in progress , so hopefully you get in - we both get in (:

Yeah you never know what could happen. I was just admitted and I have one course currently in progress so you just have to keep your hopes up and see what happens! :)

Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and recently got accepted to San Diego for Spring 2010. I am super excited for the program but scared too since I am moving from the Bay Area. I have few family and friends in San Diego so it is comforting to know that that there is somewhat of a support system on this forum. If anyone would like to meet up for open house/ orientation, please let me know! And for those who haven't heard anything back yet, don't give up hope!

There's quite a few people on this site who have been accepted to SD - I'm sure you're gonna meet them on the Orientation day - you'll be fine!

2 more hours and I'm off work. Hopefully, I receive good news in the mail ..
