Hi All,

I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?

I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know they send out alternate letter but was wondering if they send you a letter if you get rejected. Keeping my fingers cross and hopefully good news will come on Monday. Thanks.

Does anyone know if they send the letter from the San Diego office or from Oklahoma?

My acceptance letter has a postmark from Oklahoma...that could be why not everyone has received a letter yet. Keep your fingers crossed!

The letter does state that we have only 2 weeks from the 18th to reserve our spots for the Spring 2010 cohort. Maybe after that date they will send out more letters of acceptance until the class is full...just a thought.

Great!* I saw someone post that orientation would be jan 6 or 7th but isnt that too close to when we start?* We need to order books, scrubs and stuff...ooohhh I am so excited!!

The deposit is actually $250 and not $100 like it was written on the paper that was mailed to us. I'm too excited and I want my orientation packet already

I saw that too. At first I thought I clicked on the wrong button but there must have just been a misprint in the form that was mailed. I think whoever suggested meeting at orientation is a great idea too. It will be nice to meet everyone ahead of time!

Someone in a post mentioned Jan 6th or 7th for orientation. From what I understand from past cohorts, orientation is where we purchase books, scrubs, and all the other goodies. I hear that we should plan on spending a good $1200 that day for everything we need. I believe classes start on Jan 19th....that's just around the corner!

This is so exciting! I never thought this day would come and now that it's here it's a little bit scary!

I'm with you sdgirl27...I want all my stuff now!
