Hi still waiting for a reply to UC for spring semester, but thought I would try to start a thread for new and current MSN students of any advance practice program at University of Cincinnati. I hope you all join me.

I'm new to posting but also excited to see others who were accepted into UofC also. I submitted all material on 03/10/2010 and received acceptance letter on 03/23/2010 to start Summer 2010 for the FNP program. I can't wait and hope to be able to network with others for moral support. Congratulations to all!!!!:yeah:

Lisa, I think I will be in the fall semester with you. Let me know if you have heard anything new (and i will do the same for you). What state are you in? I'm in Ohio. Looking forward (but nervous) to get started.

I completed all my application materials for the Women's Health NP distance program on April 19 and am still waiting to hear back. My advisor said it is busy right now with everyone applying for Fall and summer so would be 4-6 weeks! I am SO nervous and really hope I find out soon. Does anyone know when the admissions board meets each month? Did anyone else take this long to hear back? My undergraduate GPA was 2.98 so I am nervous about being admitted. However, I feel my personal statement was strong. How was everyone else's GPA? Did some of you apply for summer but they admitted you to the Fall? I would also liekto stay in contact! Just wondering if you heard anything yet??? I turned in my application on the same day that you did and still haven't heard anything. My adviser told me approx 6 weeks too.

I have not heard anything and I can't take it!!! I was thinking about calling my advisor today just to check in but don't want to seem too pushy. Wish I knew what day the admissions comittee met!

Hi Everyone!

I also applied the University of Cincinnati's FNP program. All of my application materials were submitted on April 21. I still haven't heard anything either. I am so anxious to hear if I've been accepted! I want to call my advisor but don't want to seem to pushy either. I agree that it would be helpful to know when the admissions committee met. I will let you all know when I hear something. Best of luck to everyone! :)

The only thing I've heard from my advisor is Fall 2010 was already at max capacity. I know they had a spot for Summer 2010 because I gave up mine. I choose to go to University of Texas at Tyler. For me closer to home and in state tuition. Great school also. So good luck to all:D
