University Of North Georgia Fall 2016/Spring 2017

Published

I haven't seen a group for the upcoming Fall 2016 - Spring 2017 applicants for UNG. I know they have over 650 that applied this coming up year. Does anyone have any information they might want to share? HESI scores and GPA?

I hadn't considered taking it online and transferring it back in. I wish UNG offered it online; that would be amazing.

I'm taking Statistics during the maymester. I've heard that's the best way to take it.

I can't wait to find out, I applied for the fall 2016/spring 2017. I was in the elevator the other day in HNS and one of the nursing professors asked if I was going to be in her class, I asked her what she taught (she said nursing) and I told her I hope so! Another professor then asked her when they decide and she said they're currently in the process of looking at the applications and that we will know by the end of the month or early March!

Hey lexxo..sounds like it won't be long. I take it you're at the Dahlonega campus? Do you know what the average HESI and GPA might be?

Yes I go to Dahlonega. I do not know the average of either, but I have been looking at past threads on here and it seems like most have a GPA of 3.4+ and HESI score of about 84+.

I'm super nervous. I have been applying to nursing schools for 4 years and I really want to get into UNG. I have a 4.0 GPA but only 83% on the HESI. I hope my GPA will outweigh the HESI. I just want to get that email already about the decision. Any updates on when decisions will be made. I was told mid-March, but I'm really hoping it's sooner than that.

A 4.0 is excellent! I'm really surprised you haven't had any luck anywhere after 4 years. Best of luck to you this time around!

I didn't always have a 4.0. I had to raise it from a 2.76...so I'm hoping I will have better luck!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Nope not yet..I have so much anxiety right now

Do you guys know if they send an email or is a letter in the mail?! I am super anxious too!

They will be sending the decisions in an email, so no waiting by our mailboxes lol

Nope not yet..I have so much anxiety right now

Lord knows that's the truth. I've obsessively checked my email every time my phone has pinged for weeks.

Anyway, I got bored earlier when I should have been focusing on my research paper for the pre-nursing class and took to looking through all their old Facebook posts.

The last several years emails went out between the last week of Feb and the third week of March. I'm praying for an acceptance letter for my birthday. That would make turning 34 such a nice celebration.

Prayers and good luck to each of you as well.
