University Of North Georgia Fall 2016/Spring 2017

I haven't seen a group for the upcoming Fall 2016 - Spring 2017 applicants for UNG. I know they have over 650 that applied this coming up year. Does anyone have any information they might want to share? HESI scores and GPA?

Hey guys! I know a few you had said you were currently taking the NURS 2603 class - how are you liking that so far?? I am curious to see how that class is!

I have also been trying to look on previous threads regarding when people started hearing about their acceptances! I think I saw a few that people said they found out as early as around Valentine's Day one year :nailbiting: I wonder when we are going to start hearing!!!!

The class is not that hard so far. There is a drug calculation test where you can only miss one. Not looking forward to that! I think we find out around mid March about acceptance. How did you do on the HESI? GPA?

I've applied for 2016/2017 but my scores are much lower than everyone. My GPA is 3.1 and HESI is 86. My GPA Is from my prior Bachelors from 8 years ago. I've heard so many conflicting opinions of how applicants are rated (everything from your age to prior degrees). Anyone else heard anything like that?

The class isn't bad in the G'villr campus. The professor did say this am that they hoped and planned to have acceptance emails sent by the end of the month.

Your scores are not low at all. I sure as hell hope they don't go by age..I'm 43. From what I have heard they look at HESI and GPA scores only.

Did they say by the end of this month or next?

I actually meant you get extra points for being a little older! I think I must have a bad source í ½í¸„

Yeah that would be nice to get extra points for age. I don't think they would even know your age because there is no interview process anyway. Have you already taken all the core classes?

Good point!

I had satisfied most of them at Kennesaw during undergrad, but I am completing a&p 2 right now and then I'll have to do Microbiology and the nursing theory class this summer (if I get in).

Good luck to you! Keep in touch and Ill let yo know if I get any other information on those acceptance letters.

By the end of this month Jewels.

I'm in a&p 2 this semester as well. I still need to finish micro, Spanish, sociology and psychology.

I took the Spanish online at GPC. It was really easy and much better then doing it in class. I still have to take statistics and I'm done. I'm going to do that online as well and transfer it in.
