I haven't seen a group for the upcoming Fall 2016 - Spring 2017 applicants for UNG. I know they have over 650 that applied this coming up year. Does anyone have any information they might want to share? HESI scores and GPA?

I applied for Spring 2017 at the Gainesville campus. I spoke with the nursing Dept on the main campus before I applied.
The rep said last year they didn't accept anyone with a HESI score lower than 85, but that was all the details she could give me.
I am praying I get in. I have a 3.76 GPA and got an 88 on the HESI.
How did you do?
Hi angelicGrace. Your scores are better than mine. I got an 86 on the HESI and I have a 3.52 GPA. I am beyond stressed out about getting in. They also told me that almost half of the applicants do not have all the requirements met. I would love to find out what the average HESI score and GPA is?
Wow. I hadn't heard that about the high number of applicants that didn't have their requirements met.
I'm still a few classes of the pre-regs short myself but my plan of study has me completing all of those this summer, a full term before i need them completed. I was told as long as my plan of study reflected that I was considered "prepared".
I agree, I would like to know the average HESI and GPA. Though I don't know if that would make me feel better or worse.
Have you applied to any other schools? They all seem to be so competitive. When you look at the results on HESI evolve.elsevier.com/ website there is a class average score. I wonder if this is the UNG class average of those who took the test so far?
I applied to Augusta University (formerly GA Regents) Athens campus but I still need to take the TEAS to finish the application. I don't know that I will be able to finish it that application before the cutoff date.
I missed the cutoff dates for Piedmont and I can't afford the private college in Gainesville.
But a lot of that had to do with not realizing I was so close to needing to apply at UNG until planning sessions. By then most other schools were already closed for new applications. The joys of being a returning student is sometimes annoying.
Have you registered or already had the Nursing 2603 course yet? I start this Monday and I'm not sure what to expect..
I take that class on Monday as well. I got my books today and have spent the afternoon reading the first chapter of two of them.
One of them just jumps right in with all this info. My head was spinning by the time I finished the first chapter.

I'm applying with a 3.4 and a 91 on the HESI for the Fall 2016.

I applied for the Spring 2017 semester at the Gainesville campus. My HESI score was a 90% & my GPA is a 3.5. I'm also taking NURS 2603 on Monday (1:00-4:00).
I'm in the 9 am to 12 pm class.
I'm taking it from 1-4 at the Gainesville campus as well. I'm a little worried about my HESI score only being an 86. Not sure my GPA (3.52) will be high enough either. Has anyone heard how they might choose the one's who are accepted?
