University Of Maryland CRNA 2021

Hello everyone! I just have been getting ahead of myself but decided to start this thread for people looking to apply to University of Maryland's CRNA program for the Summer of 2021. I have been very nervous but excited. CRNA school has always been the goal so crossing my fingers and wishing everyone looking to apply lots of luck! We got this ?

In the meantime, feel free to keep me company here as I wait 6 months for applications to even be due.

I would freak out just yet. Some people will decline to interview because of acceptance at other schools. So as more spots open they will send out more interview offers.

Yes! It is a lot of interview spots, like 120 or something...for 30 or so spots?? Good luck everyone!

Do you think they sent them all out today or will be sending more throughout the week regardless of if people accept or decline?

They admitted 30 people into my cohort, and I believe it will be the same this year. I think last year they interviewed 80-90 people with about 400 or more applicants. I'm not trying to make you more nervous, I'm sorry! Just trust the process, you all will get in somewhere!! It's really about persistence more than anything, and finding the right program fit for you!

So did anyone receive any interview invites past Tuesday?  I was wondering if they were done sending them out.  Based on the amount of spots those have mentioned, maybe they are sending out emails in waves?

There appear to be a few slots still open so I wouldn’t give up yet. As someone said before I think if people decline they’ll likely send out more invites.

Yeah and looks like from last year post that the sent out more invites later.. so don't worry.....
