University Of Maryland CRNA 2021

Hello everyone! I just have been getting ahead of myself but decided to start this thread for people looking to apply to University of Maryland's CRNA program for the Summer of 2021. I have been very nervous but excited. CRNA school has always been the goal so crossing my fingers and wishing everyone looking to apply lots of luck! We got this ?

In the meantime, feel free to keep me company here as I wait 6 months for applications to even be due.

Anyone else feeling like it has been an eternity slice application deadline? I know it hasn’t been, but it sure feels that way!

I feel the same way! Hopefully within the next two weeks we’ll start hearing something ?

There might be a delay because of covid.  COLUMBIA just sent their invites and their interviews starts next week.

Hey everyone!

I keep getting email notifications with all the comments on this thread..need to change my settings. But anyways the Admissions Office got the applications to the directors of the program late. They are still reviewing the applications last I've heard, and probably will send out interview notifications soon (in the next two weeks maybe?) I think I heard them say there are at least 300 applicants or more. So try to stay calm, (I know thats impossible) but you will hear something soon I think!!

300 applications?! How many do they interview/admit?

They admitted 30 people into my cohort, and I believe it will be the same this year. I think last year they interviewed 80-90 people with about 400 or more applicants. I'm not trying to make you more nervous, I'm sorry! Just trust the process, you all will get in somewhere!! It's really about persistence more than anything, and finding the right program fit for you!
