Anyone applied for University of Miami this year?

I haven’t received anything yet, since I just got that email yesterday. They received my application.

I haven't received anything since June 6th when I got the email saying "Your application has been processed and is now ready for review"

Does anyone know how they contact you when they make a decision on your application? Will they email an offer of admission or do I just need to keep (obsessively) checking canelink?

So I just spoke to admissions and it seems that the 2nd round of decisions have been made. She advised my application was placed on hold as it was a competitive batch and will continue going to the admissions committee until a decision is made.

@Asd456 whichever email you receive notifications on you will be notified through there...or if you're like myself and others obsessively check Canelink.

@Shem10 well thats good, at least it is not something technical. But you stated she said it was a competitive batch so now it's got me thinking...

Wow! The good thing is they accept 70 students during the spring anyway. All we can do is wait

Give it time, mine said completed for a bit before I got the notification that it was being reviewed. The hard part is over, the worse part begins.

Can those whose applications are still on hold share their stats? I am wondering why y'all are not considered as competitive..getting me worried ?
