Anyone applied for University of Miami this year?

Has only one batch of acceptances been sent out? If so, I'm assuming there is this next one coming out soon and then the final one once the August 1 deadline has passed? Does anyone know how many spots are offered per acceptance round?

@csrnurse I assume only one batch has gone out based off of the previous comments on here. And the advisor told me ~80 are accepted actually, so a good amount.

I have a side note question for anyone who has been accepted. What was the last communication UM had with you before offering acceptance? I got the “your application has been received” email from the Assistant Dean, but some people have mentioned UM notifying them that their application is now under review? Should I be expecting another email?

Even better! The more they accept the better chance we’ll get to be considered. Did any of you start looking for scholarships yet? I know I won’t get any financial aid. $40000 for a year.

Congrats to those who have been accepted! I noticed my application was finally complete in my CaneLink on Monday, but I have no idea since when it’s been complete. Hoping to hear back from them sooooon!

I just checked my application my status changed from incomplete to complete. I didn’t receive any email to find out exactly what’s going to be next or how long I have to wait. If anybody have any info about that, can you give some input. Thanks

check your messages in the student center on canelink... thats where my acceptance letter was and I recieved the email 2 days after finding my acceptance letter on there.

@Mr.lucky1 It seems like it all depends on when the committee meets to make a decision/send out acceptances. Thankfully (in our case) it seems that only one batch has been sent acceptance letters considering no one else has posted on this thread about being accepted after that one time in May. That’s what I’m hoping, haha. Congrats btw @erose29 !! Hopefully we will catch up to ya soon. ??
