Hello!

I was admitted to UMiami on Friday, June 22nd!

My official letter however, says to pay the deposit two weeks from the date posted on my letter, which is June 26th. So am I good to send my deposit, money order and certificate of admission two weeks from 6/26 - which is 7/10??? And not two weeks from 6/22 when I got the message in my CaneLink?

Help!! This would make a huge difference even though it is only a 5 day difference!

I will probably call tomorrow but it is the day after the fourth of July and I am unsure if they will pick up the phone

@jkeenan Hope you got an answer from them! The way I understood it, the deposit is due tomorrow or Wednesday.

@Mr.lucky1 I decided to give up my spot at UM. Not an easy decision! All the best to everyone on this thread! Maybe our paths will cross at clinical sites ?

@Drea824 okay cool! I had to make a final decision yesterday. I took UM’s offer, because Teri from Barry told me they’re not holding any interviews until September and they’ll send acceptance letters in October. Like you said we might see each other in clinicals.

I gave my deposit to UM to hold my spot, but I’m still waiting for USF applications to open in August to apply there. Then will make a final decision. Anyone else applying to USF? (Spring 2020 it’s in Sarasota campus)

@nursetashiwashii how much is the ABSN at USF? Also what are the pros and cons considering UM with USF?
