University of Miami 2020

Anyone applied for University of Miami this year?

@Mr.lucky1 it’s around $13k. It’s wayyyy cheaper. Honestly they’re basically the same they both hold a very good and high reputation with their nursing programs. The only con about USF is that it’s one semester longer (a year and 4 months). Although it’s a con, it can also be viewed as a pro because it won’t feel extremely rushed. I think I’m aiming more towards USF and I hope I get in. Thankfully I have UM either way.

Hi everyone-

i know it’s late in the game lol but I took the chance and applied to UM ABSN Spring 2020 end of June.

I was wondering if accepted, is anyone looking for roommates? Are you using loans to pay for rent etc.?

i live an hour and 45 minutes away from campus so am trying to figure out for those accepted, what your plans were if you do not live close by.

I’m about 55 mins away without traffic I’m guessing maybe 1hr 15min with traffic (idk for sure bc I’m not from here)... I plan on commuting to save money?

@AshleymsdaviesThere is a Facebook page that was created call UM ABSN 2020 one of the girls was looking for housing. If you send a request you can be added and talk to her. just wanted to let you know she's coming from another state.

Is it weird that I got two separate emails saying my application was under review?

Just received my second as well.

Haven't received anything still since the last one June 12th

I submitted my application on 6/17 and only received an email that they received my application. Should I be worried that I haven't gotten any emails about my app being on hold or anything?

@csrnurse I’d try calling them, but the deadline to apply is on the 15th I think you still have time.

I'm with ya @csrnurse on this one and I'm kind of looking past UM at this point. I stopped checking CaneLink and started to focus on other school applications.

The deadline is August 1, so I'm still holding out hope! What other schools are you considering? @isj17
