Thread for those applying to UM FNP Fall 2017
Hi! I've been lurking on this thread awaiting my status and I got my acceptance email today too! I am thrilled! Just curious what everyone's plans are? Will you be working? Commuting? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact I got accepted...I didn't think the interview went very well
I got my acceptance letter today too!! I'm really excited, but also nervous about going back to school. I live in Ft Lauderdale, so I will be commuting to Miami. As far as work is concerned, I will def quit my nursing job. I hear the f/t program is very rigorous. I have a 4 month old baby, so I the only spare time I have will be dedicated to studying.
haha glad to see I'm not the only one who has been creeping on this thread! I got my acceptance email today and I am SO excited but still in shock! What are everyones plans/backgrounds (like plans on where to live, working or not etc) maybe we can start a facebook group to communicate?
I saw that we have to take a course prior to orientation.
congrats all!
Hi everyone!!
Congrats on the acceptances! I got my e-mail yesterday too :) I think I'm going to start a group on facebook called "University of Miami MSN Fall 2017." So look for that shortly!! The acceptance in itself is overwhelming- not to mention all of the paperwork/background check/ deposit in 2 weeks. I think it'll be good for us to use the group to go through all of this together!!
I got accepted! Im in the adult-gero track. full time fall 2017! I will be moving in from out of town and I am looking to find a roommate close to campus. my email is [email protected] Please if you are looking for a roommate as well contact me.
Hi,
I just sent in my application about 3 weeks ago and I have an interview tomorrow for the Adult/Gerontology NP full time program. I have been reading some of your posts about what else I can do to prepare. I already have my BSN....gpa 3.3....work experience 6 years (ER, Med/Surg, Community Health, Case Manager). I am very nervous!!
