Thread for those applying to UM FNP Fall 2017

Hi,

Did you had an interview or they just send you the denial letter?

I was in that situation. I didn't get accepted. I'm not sure if it was because I had not obtained my bsn because in the denial letter they don't go into detail why you weren't chosen. It's up to you if you want to apply, it seems like those who were chosen to interview already had there bsn.

Oh, I really want to be able to start on January but if I don't have the BSN they probably will deny my application.

Anyway I'm going to try. If I can't get in I will apply for Fall 2018 or to another program as well. Thanks for your response.

Specializes in Oncology.

I interviewed yesterday. I was told this week is the 3rd round of interviews and decisions should come 2 to 4 weeks from now. Best of luck to everyone.

Haven't heard anything yet, been two weeks since I interviewed. I wonder how many people they accept

Typically no more than 50 student (which includes family, acute and primary).

I have already waited the 4 weeks since my interview and still no word. Today I attempted to call but there was no answer.

I need to let another school know and pay them by the end of the week so that's the latest I can wait until unfortunately.

Wow, they are taking forever. Hopefully we hear back this week

Yes and I applied back in September! Patience is running low these days lol

Just got my acceptance letter through email :-) check your emails!
