Hello guys! I haven't been able to find a forum for this upcoming cohort. I just finished submitting my application a few days ago and just recently received my canelink credentials. How's everyone else rolling along?

With the natural sciences they calculate every single science course you've ever taken, even one's that don't pertain to nursing at all. Even failed classes and withdraws. So it doesn't honor grade forgiveness? Other schools have specific classes that they look at for your science GPA. So even though my science GPA for FIU is a 3.85 it's a 2.85 for UM? It seems like they look at all sciences. I emailed Mrs. Medina and she said they utilize the NursingCAS GPA. So I more than likely won't get an interview either, just focusing on other schools at this point. Good luck to the rest of you! ??

I'd like to think so, but I honestly feel like if they had to bend the rules for one person, they'd have to do it for everyone! So I'm a little disappointed, but it's okay! USF, FIU, TCU, UTHealth Houston, and possibly VCU? I never really considered out of state schools until recently. I'd like to stay in Florida since I'm from here' ?Your NursingCAS GPA is in your official completely application. Go to check status> university of Miami> download application and it's somewhere in there

Nice! I'm originally from Tampa, but trying to get back to Florida for school to save some money. I'm currently in Alaska, but unfortunately they don't have a CRNA program up here. I missed USF's deadline, but I also need to re-take a lot of pre-reqs and the GRE as well. I'm planning to apply to USF, FIU, Adventist and every program in the country ??

If your application is marked as "verified" then you should be able to see your GPA immediately after your transcripts section.

Ah, mine is still marked complete for some reason

Make sure you have everything uploaded that they asked for. If not, that can delay your verifcation process.

Just verified everything. My transcripts, references and employment verification is all up to date. I'll try calling them Monday to make sure though
