I am interested in applying to the accelerated program for this upcoming year (2014). I am planning to start my application within the next few months and would like to hear from those who have already been accepted or are filling out an application as well. If you don't mind sharing your overall GPA, pre-req GPA and any helpful tips you would like to recommend when filling out the application. Although I am not limiting myself to the U, this is the university I have my heart set on so any information is greatly appreciated. @lalva24 they notified me to schedule an interview for this week for the RWJF scholarship. I havent heard anything further about the others. Hope this helps.
Anybody have an idea on where they're going to live? My grandmother stays in Miami Lakes and I have an Aunt that lives in Coral Springs but I figure either place would be too much of a commute every day. And housing on and off campus is pretty expensive..
Hello guys I am really anxious waiting for the admission decision. I live in Coral Gables and I applied January 9th for the summer semester. I am freaking out because I called the school of nursing and they told me that they had already made a decision on my application but that they couldn't tell me the decision over the phone and that I have to wait until they send me an email or letter by mail. The anticipation is killing me, I really hope i get accepted. did anyone that submitted their application after january 10th get accepted already? I graduated from University of Florida with a bachelors in biology. My Miami Dade GPA is a 3.85 and my UF GPA is a 2.9 but most of the prereqs were take atmiami dade when I got my AA, the only class from UF that they would look at is nutrition. If anyone has gotten accepted and applied after January 10th please let me know and if you don't mind please share stats. Congrats to all of those who got accepted already. I heard they are accepting 100 students.
