I am interested in applying to the accelerated program for this upcoming year (2014). I am planning to start my application within the next few months and would like to hear from those who have already been accepted or are filling out an application as well. If you don't mind sharing your overall GPA, pre-req GPA and any helpful tips you would like to recommend when filling out the application. Although I am not limiting myself to the U, this is the university I have my heart set on so any information is greatly appreciated. @nikkitas Thank you so much for the response. I have been looking there but all it says is that my application is incomplete,that I am missing my UGRD college report but its been saying that since january and i've called several times the admissions and nursing school and they've told me they received it. So i don't know i'm getting a feeling they are super disorganized. Now, everytime i called none of the advisors answer the phone it's so frustrating.
@SebasSierra yea the same thing happen to me with my transcript but once I received my response my application was complete. And there's nothing in the communication part??
Overall GPA is 3.4 and science GPA is 3.33 and I applied back in January but my application wasn't sent over until March 6 because the admissions office lost my original transcript.
@mchatte on my letter is said that the office of admissions would let me know what prerequisites I need to complete before entering the program even though I finished them. So I think as long as you finish them before you start should be fine. But that's just my opinion.
@nikkitas thanks for answering. I guess I just have to sit and wait till they contact me. On my cane link, it said that I only have the college report on my to do list but I spoke to someone and they said they have it. Btw congrats on your acceptance!! When does the program exactly start for you?
@mchatte thank you! I'm assuming classes start May 19th but I'm not 100% sure. So that's why I think they should have everyone's decision soon since time is approaching rather quickly.
@nikkitas yikes may 19th is right around the corner. I think I will have to b put on the waiting list and go in for the next accelerated program because I finishing up the last 2 pre req and the finals week of this semester for me is the week of May 15th-18th. Unfortunately, the u program starts the 19th and that puts me quite in a dilemma.
@nikkitas Have you received any answer from Financial Aid? I called yesterday and they said loans haven't been given to anybody yet but May 19 is right around the corner and I'm scared.
