I am interested in applying to the accelerated program for this upcoming year (2014). I am planning to start my application within the next few months and would like to hear from those who have already been accepted or are filling out an application as well. If you don't mind sharing your overall GPA, pre-req GPA and any helpful tips you would like to recommend when filling out the application. Although I am not limiting myself to the U, this is the university I have my heart set on so any information is greatly appreciated. Hello all! I was recently accepted into the Accelerated BSN at the U of Miami to begin this summer. Has anyone who has applied to the program heard back about scholarships?

@sunshinee19 Thanks! I submitted my application back in June to be considered for the Jan class but then had to change plans and asked them to consider me for the summer class. I received notification on Feb 14th.
@sunshinee19 when did you submit your app? i submitted my common app dec 2 and i got the email from admissions saying everything was sent to nursing on jan.14. i'm still waiting on notification whether i got in or not :/
Hey guys, I just recently applied into the summer 2014. Anyone that has been accepted already, can you let me know any advice as far as do I need any other extracurricular activities to get accepted into the program?
thanks! and no worries - i had a 3.2 undergrad GPA in biomedical sciences and a 3.5 science GPA for the nursing classes. have you checked your cane link?
