I wanted to start this thread for all those who applied and are interested in applying for UM's Accelerated BSN next spring (Jan 2013)!!

Has any one applied or been accepted yet?

Sorry it took me so long to respond, let me know if you still cannot find anything with your real estate agent or if you find a 2/2 that is reasonable and close if you are still interested. I am on the facebook site now so send me a message. I think it will be easier to communicate.

Okay I joined the facebook page.

Starvilla, I just checked, I did not realize I could send private messages, I tried to send you one but the website said you declined receiving private messages.

DST, I saw in a previous post you had a question, I asked to join the facebook page, once joined send me a message. It is so hard to scroll through the messages on this site OR I still dont know how to use this site properly.

OK guys! The group's name is University of Miami- Accelerated BSN 2013..join!
I tried looking for the group, and accessing the link but nothing. Maybe it's cause I'm on a mobile device. Could anyone PM me their real estate Agent's information? I'm trying to find a place closer to school so I wouldn't have to commute as much. Thanks!!

Hey everyone,

Congrats to all of those that have been admitted into the program!! I just received my decision letter today and am happy to say that I will be joining you guys in the Spring! Extremely stoked to be moving back to FL! I also found the FB page and sent my request. Can't wait to meet you guys!

I just sent my request for the FB group too!

DST1913 - No it wasn't a guaranteed thing. I had originally chosen Summer/May entrance because at FIU they wouldn't let me register to take my Anatomy class because I wasn't meeting their pre-req's for nursing students. (Absolutely ridiculous if you ask me!) So I had already sent in my application when I was finally granted access to register for that class. So I didn't see the harm in changing, I figured if she was asking me to consider changing semesters it was because there was still space available and I met their requirements.

I also just sent in my $300 deposit today. Has anyone else gotten a head start on the immunizations, background/drug tests, and the Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers certification?
