I got my official decision letter today in the mail as well!! And I joined the FB group! Ahhh! I am so exciteddddd !!!

I currently work full time at UM Hospital until classes start in January. =)

Nevermind! I found it once I accessed it off my PC at work.

I tried looking for the group, and accessing the link but nothing. Maybe it's cause I'm on a mobile device. Could anyone PM me their real estate Agent's information? I'm trying to find a place closer to school so I wouldn't have to commute as much. Thanks!!

I will definitely let you know what I end up deciding!! And yea definitely the Coral Gables area is just wayyy to expensive. My boyfriend and I found an apartment by dadeland for like 900 for a 1/1 so we were looking into that. I called today to ask about the letters, since I have only gotten the email so far (back in September) and the letters with all the requirements (fingerprints, etc) are suppose to go out around November 1? I feel like they postpone it every week, but hopefully they send them out soon. lol

Woo, awesome!!! Are you going to be commuting from DT or getting a new place? I live in west kendall, so I'm trying to decide whether to commute or not, but it will all depend on my finances.

I think it's different for me, because since I am a re-admit student, it shows me as already enrolled as a ABSN student. I'm soooo confused cause I would like to get started on all my required items asap, but I don't see it anywhere. I'm just going to have to call first thing on Monday. No one here is going through the same thing right??? ahhhh. lol Has anyone made the facebook group yet???

I have been waiting for my letter, especially since it has been raining so much in Miami and I don't want any of the information to get damaged. Hopefully they'll send it out soon... Did any of you apply for the scholarship (deadline passed yesterday)?

Well I did not apply the traditional way, as I am a readmission student. I went to UM for a semester prior to transferring to another school to complete my bachelor's. My overall GPA was a 3.34, but I'm not too sure about my Science GPA to tell you the truth. So some of you definitely have a fighting chance. I finished micro, my last pre-req, during the summer, but had sent in my application for the ABSN program back in March. So they were definitely tired of being calling all the time to request a status update. I was considering Barry, but pulled my application because I did not like a couple of things when I went to the school for more information. I am super excited, and a little hesitant cause I will be leaving my full time job at UM to pursue Nursing, but I know it is the right choice for me. Good Luck to you ALL!!!

Heyy! =) I am applying as well, I'm currently taking the biomedical ethics course and 2 humanities courses to hopefully get in for January! I've applied to both Barry ASBN and UM ASBN, and now its just the waiting game. Not too excited about the debt involved, but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

Heyy! I sent my application in a few months back because I just couldnt wait, but as I have been told by UM, they're not going to start looking at the Accelerated until all the enrollment for the fall has been completed. I was also missing one pre-req (Microbiology), but if you're worried just give your advisor a call and they'll check into the status of your application!
